The pride in our past, the pain of our present, the passion for the future are its trunk and branches.
Self-sacrifice, self-forgetfulness, great service and high endurance for the country are its fruit.
And the sap which keeps it alive is the realisation of the Motherhood of God in the country, the vision of the Mother, the knowledge of the Mother, the perpetual contemplation, adoration and service of the Mother.

telugu sAhitI priyulaku susvAgatam!

Here I present a collection of audio renderings of telugu poetry by various people. Sorry for the poor audio quality of some of these recordings. They have been made using simple personal audio recorders by various friends and relatives of mine. Even getting access to them was difficult.

Also, if you have any personal collections of such nature, I'd be very grateful if you could share them with me to be put on my website for everybody's benefit. I'm looking for kavitA paThanam/gAnam.

Here is a very good webpage that provides introduction to chhandas (Indian notion of poetic rhythm) called Chhandassu 101. I created a local copy to avoid losing it.

Garikapati Narasimha Rao's sAgara ghOSha - kAvya paThanam

The following is a rendering by "dhAraNA brahmarAkShasuDu", Sri Garikapati Narasimha Rao gAru, of a kAvyam called sAgara ghOSha written by him. The occasion was his AviShkaraNa mahotsavam of this rachana. He rendered the entire kAvyam of 1000 padyams out of his memory in an all-day event in Visakhapatnam (June 2001). My aunt recorded it and sent me a copy.
