slightly slit kakara, tamarind, salt - boil in water after it softens, remove it. fry kakara in oil until red, set aside grind onion, jeera, red chili powder (or red chilis), garlic cloves, salt fry in above oil till brown. stuff in kakara bellam kUra: chop kakara into discs. boil with salt in water oil fry: urad, chana, red chili, mustard, hing, curry leaves add discs add little tamarind solution and small jaggery
