Sri Aurobindo and The Mother

Light for Students

The Complete Book Online

"Light for Students" is a small book published by Sri Aurobindo Ashram in Pondicherry. It is a collection of snippets from essays, letters and conversations of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother explaining to children and youth how to apply Indian Spiritual principles to excel in all aspects of daily life - including playing, studying, eating, sleeping, making friends, dealing with enemies, dealing with conflicts that arise.

This book is an invaluable guide to understanding human nature, and to understanding psychological reasons behind common patterns of human behavior. It also answers common questions that arise in a curious kid's mind. It is a must-read for adults as well, especially parents who want a bright future for their children.

Proofreading is still in progress. We just put the book online earlier for readers' benefit.

Here is the book's cover and preface that explains the book's purpose.
